  1. How to Prepare Salmorejo

    1. Wash and cut the tomatoes and garlic. Put them in the blender. Add the vinegar, pepper, salt, and ice cubes. Blend them until smooth.  
    2. Once the tomato mixture is blended, chop the bread into pieces and add them to the blender. Continue to blend until smooth.
    3. Add the extra virgin olive oil little by little to the blend and continue to blend. This will help it to emulsify. 
    4. Taste and adjust the saltiness. 
    5. Wrap the ham slices around your finger to form a rose. 
    6. Chop the boiled egg into pieces.
    7. Serve the blend or soup in a bowl. Garnish with the rose ham and chopped boiled eggs.
    8. Serve alongside white bread.
