- Pour in the hot water and mix until the sago begins to curdle and thicken.
- Stir slowly until the sago becomes consistent and fluffy staff in the water disappears
- Continue to mix the sago, stirring from the button to the top and vice versa.
- The result will be slightly more transparent than when you started to mix it.
- To eat, scoop the ambuyat with the ‘candas‘, turning them clockwise so the sago can roll on the sticks
- Dip the ambuyat in ‘cacah‘ prepared from line juice, salt, shrimp, onion, and hot pepper.
- Serve alongside some meat, steamed vegetables, fish, slices of cucumber and carrot with pepper sauce commonly called dip.
